DESCRIPTION: Mini schnauzer. Gray with blond hair. Red collar, but no tags. House trained and very playful, sweet dog.

He dug out of our yard on Thursday morning March 9th, during the rain. Bernie was not wearing tags or a collar.

"Success! This sweet dog has found a home. His owner never showed up or even tried to look for him, but a wonderful person has taken him in."

DESCRIPTION: Large yellow lab (?), short hair, very light color, unneutered male, no collar. Very friendly and energetic, about 1 yr. This dog can cover a lot of ground in a short time, he has very long legs and boundless energy. Craves attention and barks when alone.

DATE FOUND: 02/27/06 in Northampton subdivision on Northcrest Road.

DESCRIPTION: Italian Greyhound or Whippet (not sure) who is grey and white. She is very sweet, trained and has a rabies tag from Maryland from 2003.

We got word today, 02/27/06, from Julia that this dog was adopted by the FBI and "passed with flying colors". A big thanks to Julia for getting involved and helping this lost dog. We wish him the very best.

02/20/06 18 month old, full-bred, male, chocolate Labrador Retriever needs loving home. He was found in Tomball by friends, and we were unable to locate his owner. We’re unable to keep him due to a pending move. He is neutered and is current with his shots. He loves kids, chasing a ball,
food, chasing a ball, attention, and chasing a ball :-).

The "founders" of this pet have now adopted her. "She is ours now, and we wouldn't give her up for anything:)"

DATE FOUND: 12/04/05 Village of Alden Bridge/Autumn Branch sub-division, off of Alden Bridge Drive

DESCRIPTION: St. Bernard. She appears to have been recently groomed or shaved. Found with pink collar and VERY FRIENDLY.

"I ended up finding him a home with a friend. He is doing great. They have two young children and a schnauzer. He has perfectly adjusted to his new home."

DATE FOUND: 01/18/06 at Woodlands Pkwy and Six Pines. Had been running around for about a week when we finally got him to come to us.

DESCRIPTION: Terrier mix, about 1 - 1 1/2 years old and about 15 pounds, no collar and not micro chipped. Great personality, affectionate and adorable. Loves to bark at cats and play with other dogs.

Tony is a large male cat with black and grey tiger stripes on a white base. He is blind in both eyes and unable to defend himself or climb over obstacles. He is very adventurous for his condition and probably went too far and lost his bearings. Last seen Friday Jan 27, 2006 at our residence on Golden Rd. (Grogans Mill area/not far from the Randall's). Tony does not wear a collar but is micro chipped.

DATE FOUND: 01/19/06 at Alden Place tot lot in the Village of Alden Bridge

DESCRIPTION: Small, friendly tortoiseshell cat with orange tummy. No collar. Has been in Alden Place for about 2 weeks being fed by various homes but no one has taken him/her in. Local vet won't shelter temporarily. Very sweet cat, DESPERATELY needs home. Please contact if this is your cat or if you would like to adopt a small cat who needs help.

DESCRIPTION: Pitt Bull, good condition and appears to be someone's pet (was found with a Cocker Spaniel which since has been reunited with its owner).

DATE FOUND: 12/27/05 on Cochrans Crossing and Hollymead dodging cars

DESCRIPTION: Little black and white dog. She is approximately 25 pounds and has a collar with the name ANGEL and a phone #936-321-6378. The number does not work. She is around 10-13 years old.

DATE FOUND: 01/28/06 on Springstone Drive in Fox Run subdivision, near Riley Fuzzel

DESCRIPTION: Young, orange tabby cat. He has swirl markings on his side. No collar or tags. Very friendly. He hurt his tail and has been taken to a vet for evaluation.

"Hal" was taken in by an animal rescue group and fostered by a local resident until he was adopted on Saturday, 01/28/06 by a loving family with 2 other labs. We wish him the very best!

DESCRIPTION: Black lab puppy, young with distinguishing mark. Wearing a collar, but not tags.

Today, 01/27/06, we were informed that the owner was reunited with their pet yesterday.

DESCRIPTION: This pet is fun loving and very freindly. She looks like a Black and White Saluki with brown on the back legs. She is wearing a blue nylon collar without tags.

Please be on the look out for our pug Jenna. She went missing from our Palmer Crest residence this afternoon. Her collar is black with sparkles on it. The tag on her collar actually says Zoey (long story) but she answers to the name, Jenna. If you see her, please take her in and give us a call. Thank you so much for your help!! We desperately want to find her, she has been a part of our family for the past 8 years!

A HAPPY TAIL! REUNITED

"I got a call from the owner this morning, having seen one of our signs, and he’ll be picking up his dog from the [local animal clinic] this afternoon. He was terribly excited and very, very thankful. You know, the [local animal clinic] is really kind to take in these stray animals so they don’t end up at animal control. They are doing a GREAT community service keeping and boarding these strays for free. I tried to keep this one at home, but he and my own big male didn’t hit it off too well, so I had to take him to the vet’s office after a day. I am so impressed and thankful to them. It’s a good thing for people to know they can now help a stray when they don’t necessarily have the facilities at home to keep them. I also think what you are doing with this site is terrific and I wish more people were aware of it. I think you deserve lots of free advertising in the Villager!" - Chris Posey

We are happy to report that Rootbeer was reunited with his family safe and sound today 01/18/06. " I am ELATED to let you know that we found Root Beer at lunch time. I went home for lunch and rode around calling his name and a neighbor came out and asked if the dog she found was him. It was Root Beer! He is safe and sound at home now. She picked him up at 4:00 yesterday and had already taken him to the vet. She said she would have gladly kept him. He's a doll! Thank you so much - goes to show you you can't give up.....!!"

Rootbeer is a Male, Neutered Terrier Mix. He has a honey brown (auburn?) coat and weighs 11 lbs. He is not wearing a collar or tags, but does have a chip implant. He is very friendly and skips on his left rear leg at times. He was last seen in the Turnstone Area (Cochran's Crossing Subdivision - Shadowbend/Research Forest/Lake Woodlands Drive) in The Woodlands.

ANOTHER REUNION STORY!

We were informed today that this dog was reunited with his family! A big THANK YOU to the finder of this pet AND the [local animal clinic] for kenneling this dog while he waited to be reunited with his family!

DESCRIPTION: Young black male retriever/mix with white markings on his chest. Approximately 50 - 60 lbs. Wearing only a choke chain. He is very good around children. Will sit still and loves to be petted. Jumps up on people and the kitchen counter. Very good on a leash and very responsive to people.

DESCRIPTION: Medium sandy-colored dog, brown eyes - looks like a Wheaten Terrier. Groomed but kind of dirty and mostly in good shape although does have a hacking cough. Extremely sweet, friendly and well-behaved. No tags or collar although at Christmas he was wearing a grungy Christmas bandanna with a clip fastener. Don't know if he's been stray since Christmas or has newly re-escaped.

Bailey was reunited with her family on New Year's Day 01/01/06. "WE GOT HER BACK!!! We appreciate all that you did. She was stolen from us and we had a witness who recognized the car she was taken in and the police were able to track them down and get her back to us."

Bailey was last seen at 11:30 pm in Panther Creek near Northshore Park. She is half Golden Retriever and half Lab. She has the color of a Golden Retriever but the coat of a Lab. Bailey has brown eyes. She is about 1.5 feet tall and weighs about 30 lbs. She was wearing a red sparkly collar with two tags.

DESCRIPTION: Terrier mix. She had on a collar but no tags. She is housebroken and sweet as can be.

"On Sunday evening after getting home from a full day away from home, I found nine calls on my voice mail. The owner of the black male retriever/mix dog found the signs we posted four days before at the entry to our neighborhood. Each message she left was more and more frantic until the last message she left she was crying out of fear we took her dog to animal control. I called her right back and assured her that he was well taken care of at [local animal clinic]. I called [local animal clinic] today to make sure the union was successful.
